87-89 Tranny mounts??

Sorry if this has been covered but the search function is not working.

I want to replace the engine and tranny mounts with the sport mounts. The pelican site says that for 87-89 911's, the tranny mounts can not be changed without changing the entire support bracket.

Anyone know the story with the tranny mounts on 87-89 cars?

87-89 cars have the G50 trani, and the mounts are molded right into the cross member.
