Can webers and new exhaust help!!!(PICS)

I've posted some pics of my car as of today. I would like to improve the performance and look with weber carbs and SS heat exchangers and exhaust over the winter months. Can anyone tell me where the best price and place to purshase these items are. I live in Canada so shipping may be a problem..

IS THIS A WASTE OF MONEY FOR A 911T????
WILL THIS IMPROVE MY PERFORMACE SIGNIFICANTLY?????
COULD A CARB REBUILD DO THE JOB???

Please give me your thoughts... I AM FAIRLY NEW TO THE BOARD

THANKS IN ADVANCE...CHRIS..

Hi

SSI's shoudl not make a difference in performance, as they are basically the same as what you have only stainless steel. Unless that is, you have major leaks in your exisiting exchangers.

Webers ( in my car) are pretty similar to the Zeniths in terms of size, so there again, performance should be similar between them.

I'm curious... where did you take your car to be serviced?

Thanks reg for the reply

I think the weber carbs and SS exhaust will just finish the car, thus eliminating that awful under carriage and backfiring...

I have my car serviced in Oakville @ Mantis racing. I've only had good experiences with them, why do you ask? can you spot something???

Chris....

Garage
If you're going to spend money on carbs, then buy the PMO (adverts in most p-car related magazines). Most of the webers out there are getting pretty worn out I think.

That said...PMO are bloody expensive! $3500 canadian-ish

... I only asked for a reference as to your garage Chris. They guys at Mantis did well at the Targa Newfoundland this year. I've had my car serviced at Furtmair in Kitchener and Uli did a pretty good job.

Actually the Canadian dollar is riding high these days so buying from Pelican is easier than ever.

The 911, particularly the T, is not choked off by either the Zeniths or the early exhaust system.

To get more power out of the T you need more fuel, more air (displacement increase, cams) or a higher compression ratio (pistons).

I raced a guy at Summit Point in a J-class 69 911T (110 HP, 2194#), he actually finished one spot ahead of me in the race (I was .9 seconds faster but spun in lap 10), never underestimate the power of suspension and handling improvements.

My 911 has a 2.4T with SSIs and recently rebuilt Webers. You do not want to spend $2000+ to achieve this level of performance. 2.4T has 7.5:1 compression, which is the biggest problem.
