What does a 993 engine lid fit?
 

A friend has a deck lid from a 1996 Speed Yellow C4S with the motorized grill that he wants to sell. Will it fit earlier cars, or only 993s? Any idea what it's worth?

I know for a fact that it will only fit 993's. A 964 lid will fit early cars, with some modification to the hinge arms.

It will not. If you want the retractable spoiler, you have to get the decklid from a 964.

(And in case your next question is about just removing the spoiler part... Unfortunately, no, you can't just put that piece on your 911 lid.)

one more thing the 993 and 964 spoilerrs aren't interchangable!!!!:eek: :( :eek: :(
