Boxster wheels on early 911--Spacers?

I have the base 16" 5 spoke Boxster rims on my '73. While the backs look quite good and the 225's don't appear to rub, the fronts definitely need some spacing (they look offset it and the center caps interfer with the bearing cap).

I believe the ET for the front 16x6" rims is 50. I'm not a whiz when it comes to ET's, offsets, widths etc (yet), so can someone help me determine what size spacer I need?

Thanks.

Bets thing to do is do a search on spacers, jack the car up take the wheel/tire off support the front suspension so you car lower the carback doe to ride height, (basicaly put something under the a fram so the suspension will compress when you lower the car to ride height) the put the wheel/tire back under the fender put it where you want it and measure the air gap(distance between where the wheel mounts to the rotor/hub and then the wheel) you are probably looking at 1 inch but measure to make sure, Kevin

I'd like to try to maintain the same spacing as Porsche intended so the scrub radius and everything else is essentially as intended. Is there a way to calculate this to get me in the ballpark?
