How can I tell if I have Lower Turbo Valve Covers?
 
Is there a way to tell if one has the upgraded lower turbo valve covers on their 911? Without opening anything up that is. ;)

You have an '84 so you already have them. Take a look and that's what they look like, incase you are talking about a different engine.

That looks like mine... what does the non-turbo on look like then? Without the fins?

Fins = Turbo

Sans Fins = Regular

Cool, I have Turbo covers, I never knew that! MY PO put all kinds of cool stuff I am always finding, SS Brake Lines, Headlight Relays, Turbo Valve Covers,etc!

All 911's came from the factory with turbo valve covers starting in 1980.
