tire size question
I'm currently running 245/45's in the back on my 911. This is with 8" BBS RS wheels.
I'm considering going back to polished fuchs and can't decide if I want to dish the $$$ for 9's or just go with 8's. Would there be any advantage to the 9's since I'm already running 245's or save the cash and do the 8's. I'm looking at around 1500.00 for polished 7's and 8's. Anybody happen to know the weight of the cast BBS RS wheels?

The only advantage I can think of would be a slight handling advantage for the 9s due to less sidewall flex. Probably something you'd only notice on the track. Apperance-wise, I hear 8s on the back look just like 9s. On my car, I had 205s on 6s in the front, and now have 205s on 8s. I definately notice a difference in the handling. If that is important to you, look around - you could probably find 7s and 9s for about the same price. Hell - I paid less for a set of (951) 8s and 9s.
