73 1/2 CIS question
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for the fuel line
that goes between the fuel distributor and the fuel filter? It is a small piece of plastic tubing. Thanks, Mike

Are you having trouble finding McMaster-Carr on-line? The fuel line may be ordered on-line from them for a few cents a foot and you'll get it in a few days using UPS shipping. You are very unlikely to find the proper plastic line (rated for high pressure, high temperature fuel service) at a Tru-Value or Home Depot type hardware store or even at a Porsche or VW dealership. Cheers, Jim

Jim,
I'm just the messenger on this thing although I have a CIS system and the info might be useful. He visited the link you posted and claimed that the fuel line that the fellow in the post mentioned was not rated for gasoline. I didn't check the McMaster-Carr site to verify that statement. Just heresay. Thought you might like to have that info incase you might be looking to replace your line. Thanks for your help. Mike

I wrote the down the wrong type of Nylon. I went out and looked at my line and it's Nylon 11: McMaster-Carr PN's 50405K12, 50405K13, and 50405K14. This line is rated for gasoline service.
