So...the trend in "URP" now seems to be to take old street cars and pretend they were once race cars? Hmmmm. This NOT to be confused with R Gruppe cars, it seems to be a different thing.

Works for me, but I don't think it's quite as simple as that. I would love to build a car like an old racecar, make it look and perform like an old racecar. I would also love to build a car similar to an old racecar using modern parts or materials much the way Jack did. I actually think the line between R Gruppe and vintage racer replica is pretty blurry.

Besides, racing an old racecar that is worth several hundred thousand or more dollars is not as appealling as racing a car that doesn't have a history and was just fabricated to take you to another time and place.
