Power windows work poorly - need help
 

I have a new to me 1986 930 Turbo. The power windows do not work very well. The driver's side is worse than the passenger side. The windows go up much faster than they go down. Seeking help on what the problem may be, what I can check. Thanks, and as a new Porsche owner I look forward to freqeunting this board and making some friends.

switches wear out and contacts get dirty
window frame inner felt gets worn

Silicon spray down the side runners may give some temp help.
Look to see if the glass is "canting' in either up or down direction, this will put a lot of stress on the motors.
Could just be vertical channels as suggested above by Ronin.
(Had a taxi business once, windows and doors, always windows and doors)
