What cylinder do I have?

I am selling my cylinders from my '73 2.4e.

I though my mechanic told me they were not the cast iron lined.

Is there a way I can check myself to ensure I am selling the what I think I am selling?

Jon,

If the cylinders have aluminum fins around an iron sleeve, then you have the original Biral cylinders. If, on the other hand, the fins are covered in rust, you have a set of 'T' cast iron cylinders. Only the 'T' engines came with cast iron cylinders ... all other 911 engines from '64 thru '73 had Biral cylinders!
