Your $.02
If you had a choice between the following options on an '88 3.2L:
1. Full B&B (PRT) dual in/out with headers and braided lines. 2. Stock HE, Bursch cat-bypass, B&B (PRT) single in/dual out. Restrictions are: Exhaust volume, sound quality, money, hp gain (if any), ease of returning system to eco-friendly mode for emissions tests. Pro's, con's? Experiences...pics... |
A Dansk pre-muffler and a Steve Wong chip seems to have yielded a lot of happy owners. That's probably the best bang for the buck.
BB's and SSI's sysytems provide marginal power increase for 2-3 times the cost! Forget about the corrosion happy Bursch pipe (HP gains also not proven...), and Fabspeed may or may not have fixed their fitment issues. Just get a polished SS Dansks pre-muf. |
I agree w/ Souk, euro style premuff of some sort and chip are the most bang for the buck. The headers won't do much unless you do a matching cam change.

I.ve got a dansk 1in 1out sport with a stevew chip in a 89 3.2 and couldn't be happier. the only reason that I don't have the permuff is because it's a calif car. sounds great, not to loud JIM
