Solid Motor/Trans. Mounts - Not Good!

Just read an interesting opinion regarding solid motor/trans. mounts in 911s authored by Richard Parr of PMO. Has anyone else read the October 2003 issue of Panorama, page 109 (top)?
He makes some convincing arguments for not installing solid mounts in any 911.

I got in a wee bit of an argument over solid motor mounts about a month ago. I've had mine in for two months, which have entailed more than a few hard charges up and around the canyons here in SoCal. From my vantage point, they're a good investment as they improve shifting and seem to increase the chassis responsiveness. There is a slight noise factor involved, but I like a lot of noise coming out of my car. YMMV.

I've read PMO's statement about solid mounts on PMO's website. But on the other hand, many (racing) Porsches have run solid mounts with carburetors. I can't see how PMOs might experience a problem with this. But then, I have CIS, so I'm not the best of judges when it comes to solid mounts rattling apart carburetors.
