Did this guy put all this junk together for a profit ? I wouldnt pay $100.00 for that stuff. The only cool thing is the factory stuff which quite honestly would just collect dust since I dont see a 959 in my future.

Thing of all the time he spent flipping thru mags cutting out every little thing thing he could find with "959" on it.

Hold on. There are 850 separate documents. At $48,000 for the set that makes $56.47 per "BOOK, MAGAZINE, NEWSPAPER, RING BINDER, COMIC, PRINTED INTERNET SITE, PRESS REPORT, FOLDER, ADVERTISEMENT, LETTER, CARD ETC." What a bargain.

Maybe he's printed out this thread by now (it has '959' in it) . That'll be $48,056,47 please.

I happen to see Gate's 959 earlier this year, it's one of the most amazing street cars i've ever seen. street legal? i guess if you have enough money, anything is street legal!!!! Kyle.

You guys are missing the text of the ad, where he says that the whole collection is contained in a '66 911 (with wooden dash and original factory rally roll bar) that has been "tastefully" modified with a 959 Cabriolet Body Kit and VW Type IV engine. THAT'S the hidden value.
