956 in-car at Nurburgring - 7min Video

This one's been around, but for those who haven't seen it:

http://www.racing.stephan-kremer.de/Video/video.html

It's a full lap of the Nurburgring in a 956C with Derek Bell driving and commentating. -- Curt

I think that's the footage that's included in the video "956/962 - Driver's View."

For those that aren't familiar with that video it is just under an hour of different drivers on different international tracks all shot from the cockpit of a 956 or 962. Great stuff for sure.

It always amazes me how difficult the Nürburgring is because of the changes in elevation--you can't see half of the turns before its too late. Great stuff, thanks for posting.

Uh -- Mr D. Bell MBE is the driver for all of the segments. The one that I found particularly interesting was Le Mans. After he pulls on the Mulsanne Straight and gets up to terminal speed you can hear the wind whistling by....

... and there's time to check the guages....

.... Call the wife ...

... I wonder what's on the radio?....

... Check the weather...

and then swerve throught the kink and ...

BRAKE!!!!

I love the fact that the 956 winds out to max rpm . . . and stays there. . .and will not go any faster. What do you think that is, about 240?
