Seat Belt Differences
I have two sets of seat belts both I thought were from 1969 911's. One set bolts to brackets which attache to the front seats plus of course the shoulder harness.
The other set has the seat belts pop riveted to the brackets that bolt to the front seats. Are both styles stock ? And if so what car do the pop riveted style fit in ? -Thanks Don |
I am trying to get some pics of the differneces but have to get the size of the pics shrunk down so I can post them. From what I have found out one style has a large diameter swivel pop rivet that attaches the seat belt to the bracket permanently and the other style uses a threaded bracket that bolts the seat belt to the baracket. Does anyone no what years each style were used ? By the way , I am looking for a affordable set of the threaded style.
