Cool What's your car's name?

Just wondering if any p-car owner here has named their car?

My wife calls mine "Mr. Frodo". She thinks it looks like a frog.

Edit: I've decided that my car's full name is "Mr. Percival Frodo" or "Percy" for short...

Yes, I'm copying another member's idea, but like he said, it's a cool name for a Porsche!

Mine's named the Flying Turd. Imagine the most raggedy 73T in turd brown and you've got my car. Now make it smoke like a cali wildfire while flying down the road at insane speeds (for the worn out suspension) and you've got my car.

Ohh and the driver having the goofiest grin you've ever seen.

Ragamuffin or Scrapper, I haven't decided. Ragamuffing because there isn't one visable part of the car that doesn't need some serious cosmetic attention, or Scrapper because so far there are replacement parts installed that came from 7 different Pelicans and a couple of non members as well.

Porshce, good question, and the right time for me to respond:

My neighbor across the street was named Martha. She was about 75 and a widow when I met her and we became close friends. We visited in the evenings and watched baseball on TV. As the neighbors talked, they told me that she bought the previous owner of my house a car. During my friendship with her, I wondered about her generous gift.

Later she moved to an assisted living home and I visited her often, but never as much as when she lived across the street. Later that year she died and I wept at her funeral. As her grand-daughter, who would visit often, waved goodbye, I could see the twinkle of Martha in her grand-daughter's eye.

About one month later, I noticed a 911 in the classified that I could afford. I had never sat in a 911, but wanted one or a 356. The moment I sat in it, I feel in love.

A few days after I had the 911 in my driveway, I thought about the events that took place...her death, the classified ad, the instant love of the car, my unexpected year end bonus. It was like she died and during her path to heaven she asked that I have this car.

The cars name is "Martha".
