There is an add in the local paper for an 82. Says it is good mechanically but needs cosmetics. Don't know much more than that. PM if you want the asking price, it is low.

I have a 79 SC that I have to sell sometime. The car runs extremely well. The engine is one of the sweetest runing stock SC motors I have had, before I did the presmog tuning. The transmission has been gone through and has had lower gears installed, which also enhances the sweetness of the engine. The car has been maintained by Black Forest here in San Diego,which if you havn't heard of them, they have a fairly good reputation down here as Porsche wrenches.

Now for the things that it needs;

could use paint (it is now tan with brown interior),
needs a new dash,
winshield seal and while your at it probably a new windshield,
oil return tube seals (leaks some oil)

I think thats about it. Its basically a good solid unmolested car. I was going to make this car all pretty and use it as a street car and turn my other SC into strickly a track car, but time and money (or justifying the use thereof to the wife) seem to prohibit me from being able to do that right now.

I would take about $7500 for the car. If I can't get that I will probably paint it and then sell it, which seems kind of a shame because I'm not likely to pick the perfect color for the next person.

Sorry, I don't have any pics. I am completely digital cameraless right now. However, I live in Scripps Ranch so I'm not that far away if you want to come look. I need to go buy a new camera, but probably won't get to it for at least a couple of weeks. I will also probably put the car in the Auto Trader in a few weeks so if you want to wait you could see it then.
