fuel injection question

I have another (stupid?) question. I have a 79 911 SC and where the fuel lines go into the heads are the lines supposed to have "play" in them where they fasten into the engine?? It only seems like the rear most two lines on either side have the "wiggle" in them...

It seems wierd but possible..

Thanks

Alex

the injectors have a rubber o ring that holds them into the plastic sleeve, that also has an o ring that seals it to the bore of the intake runner. both o rings get rock hard and can cause a vacuum leak. even new, there is some play, but no leak.
