I'm thinking about getting the XM Radio service but I don't know where I should have the Antenna installed.

I have a White 911 SC with a carrera tail.

Does anyone have any pics?

Ideally They should be on the roof but I have had alot of success mounting them inside on the rear deck. The shop may not guaranty the reception just to cover their a$$ but I haven't had any come back. I always warn customers they might have some bad spots in reception. Just an FYI because of satalite positioning the Seattle area has probobly the worst reception in the nation.

I ran with mine on my rear deck in my S4 for a long time with no problems. Occasionally reciption might get spotty if I was driving southbound, presumably the roof was blocking the antenna.

I had the antenna on the 911 for a short period of time on the trunk lid/hood, in front of the cowl/vent as far to the passenger side as it would go. It made it easy to route the antenna to the radio, being 12" away from that spot.
