Early 911 Before and After??

Not what you were thinking, huh? I finally scanned some old photos I had of my '67. I still get nauseous when I look at these. 90 year old Oak tree took care of two beauties in a second ...

Ohh, man! You should prepare us better for such a terrible sight!

The car covers look like tarps to cover the two lost souls. May they rest in peace.

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)

There's a paintless dent removal guy in your area that can fix that.

Seriously, that is a sad sight!

Glad to see everyone can laugh - it was the only way I could deal with it as well! The insurance company called the 911 a total loss and a dismantler got it for $900. If I had only known about this board then ???

This happened two years ago Oct 15. The TR3 was sold to one of my mechanics and he was restoring it. Curious how he is getting along? I sure miss that TR3. They have gone up in price while the 911's have gone down?

George, George, George, of the jungle. Watch out for that tree! That has got to be the scariest thing since The Exorcist. I now cannot walk out into the dark after seeing that.

Man that photo is upsetting. I feel the pain

It hurts me to see damaged porsches - especially longhoods.

On the bright side - at least it lowered the front end!

targa911S - I'm in Lakewood - don't you have a son that lives in the neighborhood? This happened a couple years ago during a nasty windstorm.

Supposed to be 80 degrees here today!

Yes, Mike lives in Lakewood. On Edgewater. He is a bartender at Liquid. He also works at Around The Corner, also in Lakewood. If you see him tell him I said Hi. I thought that area looked like home. Actually my daughter lives there too. I lived at Cove and Clifton until I moved to Floriduh in 87. By the way it's only 80 here today also. A pretty fall day. Would have loved to drive the P car today, but I pulled the left side CV out of it last night to put on a new boot...now I'm waiting on parts. I can't believe the local dealer here didn't have a paper gasket for a CV joint in stock.
