40th Anniversary Front License Plate (?)

My front valence isn't the greatest and I've toyed with the idea of putting on some sort of front plate as a destraction to its condition. While searching ebay for plates I ran across this...

Cool or Cr@p?

I like it but think it would look better hanging in my garage.
Plus there is the legal thing about no front plate in some places.

I like it also, but there is something about the "retro" styling that would look strange as a license plate. IMHO.

The one pictured is the "rally plate." There is another with PORSCHE along the bottom to make it larger to fit the license plate holder. One issue I have with it is that 2003 is almost over so I think it'll seem dated in a couple of months. I'd really like a front plate on my car to hide what looks like a light cat strike by a PO, but am not really fond of the crest plates.

How about one of those long euro plates?
They come with catchy phrases like "FAST911",etc.

I like it. I also like the idea of a euro plate. You may want to think about puting a boat proppeler on the front, that would surely distract the eye from the valance.
