I need one of you to go look at it for me and give me your overal opinion. I need to know all of what is wrong with this car. It is a wreck so i need someone to describe or photo the damage the best they can... Please message if you can help.

I will try to get over there this weekend. I know exactly where the shop is as I used to work in Milford. However, it is 45min. each way and I'm not positive I'll have time. If I can get my hands on a digital camera I will grab pics or a video walk around for you as well (perfect time for me to lend my camera for an overseas trip).

Man DEANP!!! IF you can do that i will gladly send you some money for your time and headache you save me. It's worth a few bucks to know for sure if this is a good or bad idea. Please look closely at the FRAME damage. Get an idea what parts need replacement. Please pay special attention to the interior and front suspention too. See if any interior parts were damaged from the colosion. Also..check for oil leaking. John Goncalves is the guy i have been dealing with on this. Tell him you are there to inspect the car Bert Lane wants to buy. 993 black 1997. Thanks a million man. Ill gladly help you in any way i can with whatever porsche stuff you might need from COLORADO. Thanx again.

Bert, no worries about the time or money! I am going to try and get there tomorrow AM. My digital camera is in LA on its way to the Orient with a friend so I'll take some 35mm pics and scan them for you. If I can see it tomorrow you should see pics in your email by Sunday. I'm going to call John now and see what their schedule is.

I just talked to John - he's there until 2:00. I should be able to get there.

Todd- check the posts later tonight. I have one thing I am trying to rearrange for the AM. If I can't I'll post so you can make the trip down.

Let me know.

Ends up I can't change my plans to make it to Milford tomorrow. When I spoke to John he indicated he would be at the shop until about 2:00. If someone else can get there while he is open, please do.

If you are not familiar with Milford, the best way to get to the shop is 495 to Rt 16, Rt 16 West towards Milford center, I believe the shop is on the left after the fourth or fifth light. Rt 16 becomes Main Street in the center of town.

Todd - thanks for bailing me out, I was waiting all afternoon for confirmation of a meeting and got the call last night at 6:30. BTW - I since it looks like you enjoy 944's I know of an '87 turbo with 81,000 miles in fantastic shape (white with cream leather int.) that is for sale. Not sure of asking price but I can find out if you or someone you know is interested. Local Porsche mechanic in Sterling, MA has it at his shop, it belongs to one of his customers and he has maintained it for most of its existence.
