Value of 3.3L Turbo Motor (40k miles)

I know recently there was a similar thread, but this is a slightly different situation.

I have a 3.3L Turbo motor out of a 79; it's got 40k on it (which the PPI guys believe to be the case). I'll also have the original transmission (that shifts fine) and a GHL exhaust system (installed fewer than 2000 miles ago). It's got the original 3LDZ and wastegate.

At some point in the coming months I'll have this pkg for sale, along w/ a number of other 930 bits (a whale tail, rear bumper & bumperettes, glass, etc.)

The motor needs a tune and a valve adj, but runs well once it's warmed up.

So, the question is, what is a fair price for the motor, tranny and exhaust?

I would ask $8k for the motor and $1k for the tranny. Is it just the muffler or is it headers also?

$8000 sounds right for a 930 engine with that few miles on it. I think the transmission might be worth $2000, those V8 guys love the 4 speeds for their dune buggies.

8K sounds about right maybe 7.5k , and if you have headers I am interested.
