Targa coming back, fixedc on the cell phone lady's dime, I want to up the perfomance
 

While the targa is being repaired on the cell phone lady's insurance companies dime I am looking to upgrade the performance a bit. I have asked for muffler responses and done a lot of searches but I still have questions. I can tell easily from searches here that Steve W is the chip master but what do people like for the budget minded muffler of choice?

By the way I ordered a MA Shaw duck . Mike from MA Shaw was a pleasure to deal with. Of course I’ll post pictures when I get the car back.

I *think* that my car has a Fabspeed muffler on it. It looks like the typical two-in, two-out Dansk but the outlets are slightly different. I'm somewhat ignorant because the PO of my engine bought this muffler when he added SSIs to the engine and then replaced it with a Monty (but kept the Monty when he sold me the engine).

OK, long story short - the muffler seems to be fine, but it is actually very quiet (not a characteristic that is high on my list). It seems to be well made and has liitle or no "droning", though.

Bottom line, seems to be very well built, but it is nothing special.
