Achtung, President Zielke (or Pate?), reporting for duty, Sir...
well, I'm almost back in the saddle, but not quite ready to ride yet. It will be another 5 weeks or so before I can ride the SC again to take on the Gruppe groupies and the toffee-rodbolted Carrera hordes. Maybe I need some assistance from the SCWDP shock and awe department. For those who care, I had a C4/5/6 cervical fusion on Oct 29.
![]() Seriously though, to keep this on topic, the SC will be laid up for 2 months or so. Anything special I should do? I don't want to start the car up just to idle for a few minutes, and I can't drive it till mid-December earliest. I'm inclined to just let the car sit and to check the oil before re-starting, but I'm open to suggestions. The wife is not allowed to drive it either by executive order, since the last time she did, the conversation went like this: Wife: "Hey, this is easy, the gearshift is just like my old VW Beeltle!" Me: "Well, there are similarities in the design...." Wife: " I don't see what is so special about this car, though?" Me: "If you take it beyond 3000 rpm you might see what's so special!" Wife: "No, it's too loud then." Me: "%*#@?$^!" So, President Zielke, application for special leave is in the mail. Sorry for the goofy pic. Take care. LeRoux
