930 turbo part number?
 

Hi!

Does anyone know about the KKK turbocharger with number "5673 970 1700" and model #1259 307.1 on a red tag on the compressor housing?

Is this from the 930? One can normally tell the KKK model designation from the first 4 numbers (eg. 5326 for maybe a K26), but this one has me lost.

What were the turbo model numbers from the 930, including the 7200 unit?

Any help appreciated.

The only one's i seen as original turbos on 930's is KKK 3LDZ....

Yes, those are the ones I've read about. I am trying to place this turbocharger. The K27-7200 units I've seen around all have the red plates, which seems to be odd compared to KKK's other models. This one has the red plate, but just need to find out if anyone can place the part number.

Later 930 had K27's and not 3DLZ's. I'm not able to trace the number though...you might try to e-mail KKK?

3LDZ in my 77' 930 also Jocke. Trust me I know it well, rebuilt 4 times.
