Amsoil questions...
 

Anyone switch to Amsoil in the later years of thier car's life? Mine is 100,000 miles old (84) and my mech just put in Amsoil over Mobil one.

I used to run dino, then Mobil one for years, both just fine. Now with the Amsoil I seem to run hotter overall, smoke somewhat when I've NEVER smoked (not even at startup) and the oil @ 1500 miles is looking kinda burned/dark. And oil usage is up seemingly. Leaks are about the same (very minor).

Anyone else experience these things? Otherwise all is the same.
