Photos of a "Rosewood" SC?

Anyone have a "Rosewood" SC? I found one remotely and the photos don't reveal the true color. Anybody got photos of yours in the sun (or at least outside)
Thanks!!
Steve

Had an '82 Rosewood SC a few years ago, long before I had a digital camera. Very interesting color. Kind of metalic brown with a touch of burgandy. IMHO, it is a color that you either love or ignore.

On my screen, this looks far redder than the Rosewood Porsches I have seen. In person, this color looks very similar to my beloved Smoky Quartz Metallic 911. Just slightly redder, but not nearly as red as the one on my screen.

Steve,

I agree with Superman. I have a Rosewood SC, the color does not look as red as the one above, but very close.

I unfortunately don't have a decent pic at this time.

The thing I remember about my Rosewood SC was that the amount of red depended on the angle and brightness of the sun. Looks very close to how I remember mine.

I currently own a Rosewood Metallic 911SC. I have quite a few pictures in different light. Sometimes it appears to be dark brown or black. In direct sunlight, it's almost purple. It's an interesting color and looks good on a 911. If you would like some pictures from different angles, let me know. I'd try to attach a few, but the files are too large.

Here is my 81 911SC at Laguna last year. The color does change a little in different light. There is a hint of pink in the color in the right light but mostly is look like a metallic brown.

Yeah, except for the first Targa picture, those all look redder than real life. One of the above descriptions is spot-on for both the Rosewood and the Smoky Quartz Metallic, which I assert is VERY close to Rosewood. It's a metallic brown color, looks almost black sometimes, but has a mauve/purple/pink/grey hue to it, under the right light. Very interesting color. Most of you are probably sick of hearing me describe its virtues. Mine gets lots of compliments, and its surface has seen 230,000 miles of wear.

Thanks for the photos and descriptions. It a vehicle I'm investigating, and having never seen one up close, I needed a better idea if I'd like it.
My wife does, so that's a good sign.

Here ya go. Found this pic in the Pelican classifieds. It's a '77, so I think it would be Rosewood. Or close. Closer.
