My turn signals / hazards flash super fast when it is cold or wet out. They used to correct themselves after the car warms up, but not anymore. I have checked / switched all the signal bulbs, but it made no difference. I did a search, but the best I found was that I should clean the connectors in the bulb housings. I will do this today, but thought I would post for additional info as well.
My assumptions are: 1) The problem is with the rear lights / fuses because the problem used to go away when the car warms up. 2) The relay / "ticker" behind the dash is ok, since it works / "ticks", although super fast Any thoughts?

Usually the speed of the flashers correlates to the amount of current being drawn. It's just a bimetallic that breaks as it heats and makes when it cools. Sounds like something shorted. single contact bulb in a double contact socket?

Clean all you wire conections and grounds, you blinkers reley on resistence to work if a wire conection or ground is bad it will not work correctly, also change you bulbs, for two reasons[1] your in there where they are at [2] new bulbs are brighter than old bulbs, One other thing use bulb grease on the sockets and bulbs.

My aftermarket flasher makes them superfast. Make sure you have european style bulbs as the "merican ones take different voltage.
