Question Loose Electric Mirror

My drivers side electric mirror has come off. Looks like it has a collar that rotates around to lock it in place. But how do you rotate that collar once the mirror is in place. Basically there is not much room. Any help would be appreciated.

Jason are you talking about the glass coming out or the flag itself coming off the stalk?

Got it...that collar has some spokes at the bottom. So I powered the mirror until it was tilted all the way up. Then I was able to reach the spokes and lock the collar inplace. I am sure that would have only cost about $35 at the P-Car Dealer. Thanks Anyway! Now time to drop the engine.

Bently talks about a locking ring at the base of the glass, assesible through a small hole on the bottom of the mirror frame. If you take the entire mirror off and turn it over (or stand on your head) you can see it. They show inserting what looks like a screwdriver to tighten or loosen it. If my scanner worked I could just scan it and show you...but hasn't worked since I moved

Yep...saw the hole. But tilting the glass worked too. Thanks! Get that scanner fixed. Something else might break on my car.
