Cabriolet Top

I Just inherited a 1988 Cabriolet with no top. Whats the going rate for a top and all hardware and frame-manual?

Anywhere from $1500-$3500

Hit up the various Porsche salvage yards. Silver Star Recycling had one the last time was there.

Would a Manual top work on a 1988 Chassis?

My 1987 is a manual too. And I was looking for a manual top only. I think Parts Heaven had one too.

I have a manual top in my '88. I can open and close it while sitting in the driver's seat (I am 6'5" with long arms). I read that power tops became standard in '87 or so. But that was in "Original Porsche 911" which is a British book, so I didn't know if that statement applied to the U.K. market and not the U.S. market.

ouch, it might be spendy. If you find a power top, I might need some parts, smile.
