Hello to all out there
Would any of you be kind enough to let me know if after market wiring kits(?) with the proper colour codings and hardware exist and where does one acquire the above for a 1970 911T. I refer to my 'dead thread' of Nov. 7. I found a number of solutions to my problems once I discovered how to use the 'search' button. I realise now I should have tried that first. "Live and learn" - I guess! Many Thanx in advance Brian |

Thanks Guys - To answer you directly Jeff, the wiring from the rear firewall to the alternator and CD unit is 'fairly fried'. Everything forward of that looks OK but I must admit I don't have that warm & fuzzy feeling. At first glance, the wiring in the luggage compartment and the fuses seem alright. I realize that an 'in depth' inspection is my next task. Coffee sounds good as I know my new/old toy is not going to be up and running for quite a while. Ron - your 'nom de guerre' sounds too good to be true. I am in serious need of some dual seat time! Talk to you soon.
Brian

I'm up for a coffee (or whatever) run! Although we might have to wait 'till spring now that the monsoons are here.
it would be great to meet all the local P heads. How many of you keep your cars insured all year? (I do)

I would be interested in meeting with other local P heads. I am about 7 min. to work and drive almost all year round, except for snow.

I live on the boarder of Langley City and Brookswood. My car is a red Targa. I also joined the local PCA last year and have been on a couple of the BBC runs. A bit on the early side, but they are lots of fun. The club has also put on some very interesting tech events in the area.

That's great to hear. I am about to do my brakes in the next few weeks: bleed the system ( just got my power bleeder from our host), new front rotors, lines and pads. I am a bit concerned about stripping the lines, however, because they have not been done in years. I plan to soak the fittings with liqued wrench first. It is a constant work in progress. Or, should I say a mild obsession in progress.

When I drive up to Richmond/Vancouver (about twice a month), I very seldom ever see any of you guys driving around. It's not until I drive over to Weissach or MCL before I see any Porsches. Where do you guys hang out?
Have they completed the repairs to the road to Whistler since the storm?

Hi Harlan
The road is in a constant state of repair and upgrading in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics. I don't know of a website as yet, but here's a toll free project information line number 1-866-986-8675. Hope this helps. I too, need some time at 'Seventh Heaven' Brian
