Strut removal from A-Arm Ball Joint
I have Bilstein Struts and expected to see a bolt that pinches the strut to the ball joint. But What I found is what looks to be a pin that is flush with the strut on one side and has threads with a 13mm nut as it comes out the other side of the strut bottom. How do I remove this pin? Does it just tap out with a punch?
I want to maker sure before I start breaking things, Thanks |

Yes, jsut tap it out. Use a new one on reassembly if possible. At least dress it flat on a ginder.

Humm? Are these the later - less preferred Bilstein struts. My last 911 had Koni struts which had a bolt. Obviously the Bolt is much easier to remove. Do all Bilsteins use a pin configuration? If not which year did.
