How to remove one part of window trim
I searched the archives for instructions on removing the lower piece of window trim on the doors. I'm describing the black piece that runs parallel to the window and sits on top of the door. Several people wrote that this piece was spring loaded and could be removed without taking the entire window frame apart. Can someone give me specific "how to" directions? I've examined it and I don't see any way to remove it.

I would suggest using a narrow putty knife with some tape wraped around the end so you won't scratch the paint. The trim is held in place with clips that fit tightly into holes on the door panel. Just pry upwards starting at either end.

Thanks. That's what I needed to know.
