Rustproofing inside of torsion bar tube - how?
As part of the ongoing chemo on my 69 Targa, I have the rear suspension removed completely, including the torsion bars. Inside the tube, there is surface rust all over it, with some flakes collected at the ends. Any suggestions as to how I can effectively rustproof this? I do not have a rotisserie set-up so rotating it 90 degrees and filling the torsion tube is not really an option. Does anyone make large round wire brushes (4 inch diameter?).

Use Black oil a KEP product, it is what truckers use on the 5th wheel. It is heavy oil that foams up when you spray it, just spray in the tube and you will be set. Steve
