Uhaul trailer and 930
Anyone know offhand if a 930 will fit on one of U-hauls flat deck trailers. I'm pretty certain I'll need a few 2X8's to get things onto the deck, but once up there am I in the clear? The car is a 82 930 sitting at euro ride height.
As an aside, anyone know of any Boston area trailer rental agencies aside from U-haul that might have a more appropriate trailer. As a total long shot, anyone have a open trailer they are willing to loan out for a trip from MA to NY. I lost my garage spot here in Boston, and need to get my car down to its new home in NY. Thanks in advance, Vin |

Does the car run?
It's not that far. Why not just drive it? Scott

I just towed a euro height 911 from LA to Albuquerque on a U-haul auto carrier. It worked just fine. It comes with ramps. If you drive on and off very slowlly and carefully you should not bottom out. The trailer was amazingly heavy though--over 2000 lbs.!..almost as much as the car, so you need a class 3 hitch and a bit of horsepower.
