how much to replace the rear torsion bars on a 82 911? I got qouted $800 and I have the torsion bars. So $800 for labor??

You want to see what that includes. You will need new bushings likely as you will definetly need a 4 wheel alignment and a corner balance. I'd be surprised if the price you got only includes labor and no parts. It is very time consuming to do it right. If you want to save a little time/labor time, remove the rockers and the hole cover for the t-bar access and then put them back on when you get the car back.
