No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)

This was the only one I liked, so I edited it a little.

Heheh, seeing that white 911 up on stands with no wheels made me envision the future when hover cars are all the rage, some of us or the next generation will be tooling around in 911's that have been converted to hover. I think it'll look pretty good if 111 is any indication!

Nice Chad!

Is there anyone down there that is providing car transportation and track side support for 356's and early 911's - like the Emory's do up here in the NW?

Race Support

MarkP.

Yes there is. The Company name is Competition transport. Owner/Racer Frank Beck. Works on all the early 911s in VARA and 356's. Great Company and the best service. Just e-mail me and I can get you in touch with those he supports.

Competition Transport

The link is to his Car hauling services but his phone number is listed there.

You can also try this number 602 997-6572 Ask for Frank

Chili,

THose are great pics. It was great to meet you this morning. it is always cool to put a face to a name Pelican.

I was comingout of my trailer and you walk up and say, "Vintage911racer?" I say yep, you say "Im Chili".

How cool is that?

Yea, I was looking forward to putting a face to a name, too. I often wonder when I pass another Pcar, if the owner is someone that frequints this board. I had a good time. Just sorry I couldn't stay longer and wish I had more memory in my camera. I'll ask Santa for more! Have fun next season. I'm sure I'll see you again!

I'm also pretty enamored with No. 111. Thanks for the great pics, Chili!

Thanks Mark...that R look is very cool.

Vintage911Racer, I just realized that you're the son in the "Family Affair - Father and Son 911 Racers" article in the Aug 2002 Ecellence. I re-read that article just a couple of days ago. Outstanding article and great cars, too.

Just to give you an idea of how cold it was that day, I looked up willow's website to see the temp at 6:45am (a few minutes before I left my house in Covina) and it was 28 degrees at the track. I walked outside to leave and saw this on my daily driver (I took the P-car, though).

Can you say COLD!

Damn CHILI, that is cold.

Jim,

Yes, that is me in the article. Thanks for the remarks. That was very cool to make the cover and have the spread inside. The car is much different then it was back then. changed the fuel cell, added more cage to the front of the car. Repainted it. New suspension etc,

Hope you all had a great Turkey Day,

I get to start removing my engine tomorrow. I cant wait.
