membership pecking order?

ok, i am relatively brand new to this stuff. i only really owned my 911 about 3 months. someone please explain membership pecking order. junior member, member, senior member.....grand pooba member, so on and so forth.

and what does P.P.I. stand for? i am horrible with acronyms...

PPI if you don't know and you just bought a 911 you don't want to know.

Goes from Member to Senior Member. Then, possibly Moderator for the chosen (well deserved) few.

After a while you'll get a grasp of who the powers and personalities are in different areas of expertise....including humor, philosophy, spelling etc..

I think I went from Junior to Senior member after about 100 posts on the board. Doesn't mean I know anything though. As others said, you can change it your self

I just changed automatically from Junior Member to Member. Seemed like 30 posts is the magic number for that.

It doesn't matter if you are a junior or senior member. I think you will find out everyone is treated pretty well the same on the board. There are some who contribute more than others and some who know more than others, but everybody is more interested in information and friendly exchange than anything else. Additionally you will find a bunch of contributors with really great senses of humor and imagination. I read the board quite a bit, when I have a minute or two, but don't have time to contribute much. But, whenever I ask a question, I get nothing but great feedback. You will too.

So true. I was a senior member before I changed my username but I still ask really basic questions on the board. The cool thing is, no matter how dumb my questions may have been, someone almost always chimed in to help.

100 is the number when it flips over to Senior Member. Grand Pooba....I don't know. It's Wayne's football, but Warren has it for now.

Edit: I'm wrong! Wayne has passed up Warren by about 50 posts. Wayne is the Grand Poobah.
