Has anybody seen one of these ducktails?
Picked this up today from a local guy. It's a ducktail top that looks like it's meant to be bonded to a steel hood frame like the factory tail. No stampings of any kind. The shape looks to be good but the gelcoat is pretty rough. Anybody ever seen one?

It looks like a manufacturers reject. You can see how the resin has "overcooked". That would also explain why the gelcoat has cracked. I would imagine you'll have a lot of problems getting a good finish on the part if you tried to use it.

Yeah, thought it may be something like that. I got it cheap so looks like it might be a garage decoration.
