Hella 80/100 watt headlight impressions...
Wow! I installed the Sucro Relay and Hella 80/100 bulbs in my H4's. I was thinking of going with the 100/130 Narva bulbs, but have decided there is no need. The 80 watt low beams give great illumination. Much better "light spread" and even better lateral lighting. The high beams are amazing. No need to go for the 130's unless you are working for SETI and want to flash the Martians.
If you travel mountain roads at night, this upgrade could help you avoid some unpleasant wildlife encounters. Takes 1/2 hour if you're competent. Took me 1 1/2hours. ![]()

I agree...exactly what I did! I was really suprised at how much the relays helped...even 55/65s were awesome, but the 80/100s are killer. Pays to take your time and doublecheck everything so as not to fry things. Also, in non-SC cars, the Sucro instructions need a bit of translation to account for different fuse locations.

I like my 100w high so well, I think I'd like to get some beefier headlight plugs and switch to the 100/130s. At my age, light is good. Heat too.
