Replacing Dash...What else should I do?
 

I'm going to replace windshield and dash cover in my 73e Targa. Is there anything else that should be done while the windshield is out? Maybe upgrade the speaker, check and re-seal windshield sill?

Check / replace light bulbs on your instruments and heater control panel.

How's the paint on your dash face? Good time to freshen it up.

Do your A pillars need recovering? How about the headliner? Headliner will require removal of the other windows too.

Inspect the windshield channel carefully for rust. Repair as needed.
