weird question for T day
 

Any help would be appreciated. With the ignition key set on accessories I hear a "tinking" noise under the dash near the driver's side. With the car being driven this same noise is present every 5-6 seconds, First time I've noticed this annoying electrical relay type noise.:confused:

What year car? (not that it will do me any good - but might someone else)

The car is an 85 Turbo look 911. I just got it and haven't had the time to find out what the car is all about.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't feel safe in driving the car until the holiday is over and I can get it into the Porsche mechanic Monday or so.

I pulled an EGR clock ,etc from the gauge area
