Just out of curiosity what are you paying for a valve adjustment and LOF. I live in Redlands, Ca. (55 miles from Los Angeles) and I have access to two good Porsche repair shops, one a a Porsche dealership and the other is a independent. I paid 500.00 for the service last week.

I was charged $75 hr plus parts when I had work done in LA.

what year is your car? If it is older than '99, I wouldn't take it to a dealer.
a "major service" (valve adjust, fluids, belts) is usually around $400-500 depending on the details. Shop rates are $85 plus or minus. That's for places I've seen in LA. |
