Thanks Mr Anderson

I have had a sticky left rear caliper for the last couple of weeks. I looked up caliper rebuild and finally looked in Bruce's Porsche 911 Performance Handbook at the brake chapter. Bruce suggests "exercising" the caliper, which I did this afternoon with the help of my seven year old daughter.

Well Voila! No rebuild neccesary, the "exercise seems to have done the trick . Hopefully this will put this to bed , now I have to go thank my wife for this Christmas present from several years ago, which was a worthwhile investment!

That's great if that worked Bob, but if they have never been re-built, it's still a good idea. It's just 21 years of age and use is a lifetime for those little seals.
