headlights not working
 

Where do I start to look for the problem of headlights not working? Parking lights work, blinkers oK, taillights work. The high beams flash on sometimes with the stalk sometime not. No low or high beams with the switch. 1988 Carerra

Replace the stalk switch
 

Had the same issue, asked the same question, got multiple replies to replace the stalk switch - apparently a common weak spot.
Got new switch (from Pelican, of course), changed out, problem disappeared. Opened up old switch - high beam contacts almost melted.

So....replace the stalk switch! Not a big job.:cool:
