Still have the Carerra, but looking for a Toyota 4Runner forum too
Just got a 2000 Toyota 4Runner for work, so the Carerra can get some garage time and a valve job. Does anyone know of a great forum similar the this one for Toyotas?
Thanks. |

It's both to Wayne's Credit and the other regulars on this board that you are not likely to find another board like this.
In addition to my rusting 69 911, I have a Lexis GS and occasionally visit the Lexis Owner's Club forum. Most of the discussion relates to whether a wheel has too much or too little "bling" or what aftermarket HID light kits are the best. It can be pretty funny in comparison to the regular discussions here about rod bolt failures and Loctite 574. Check out the Lexis forum and you may find a link to Toyota stuff, but I doubt you'll find it as impressive as this forum. http://www.lexisownersclub.com/us/forums

I've had two 4Runners. First one was a '96 Limited - until my son drove it into a center divider on Christmas day in the snow. That car had 176,000 miles on it with zero problems. Just tires, brakes, oil, and filters. Now I've got a '99 Limited, and it's even better. Very versatile vehicle. Fits our needs very well. Let me know if you find any good resources.

Before this gets moved as being OT, my wife and I just bought a 2001 4Runner. It's my second 4Runner and my 6th Toyota truck-type vehicle. IMHO, Toyota trucks are unbeatable.
Anyway, I'd be interested in finding a forum also. I used to hang out periodically on some Toyota 4WD forums, but they are generally hardcore into four wheeling and not just for the typical Toyota owner.... Mike '76 Euro 911 w/3.2 2001 Toyota DoubleCab 2001 Toyota 4Runner |

I have had both fj-40s, fj-60s and solid axle 4runners. They allow the early 4runners in on the landcruiser sites. They may allow the late 4runners on. Not sure but I would try as they have a strong following.

You might want to try www.yotatech.com I got some good info from that forum when I installed a supercharger on my 97 4runner
