internal thermostat schematic
 

hi:

my business is temperature control systems and i am wondering how the engine mounted thermostat works and what the internals look like. Does anyone have a schematic that show the insides? i searched the forum and could not locate one prior to posting this.

I have just finished rebuilding my external oil thermostat. The best one I have seen is in the Bentley manual.

You might be able to get a member with a digital camera to post it for you.
