shops recommending bad used cars??? - was there such a past topic?

Been searching for a past thread but forgot the exact details. It was referenced in someone's post and implied something about Porsche shops involved in helping to mislead buyers into buying questionable cars.

Anyone remember anything like this? If so, I'd like to read up on it.

I don't think you're dreaming. I don't know where the thread is either. There was definitely a shop in San Deigo that was questionable - but I don't think it was a POrsche shop; it was a body shop.
