Porsche Crest Visited the restoration shop yesterday, painted 356's

I visited the shop that I had my car painted at yesterday and had to take some shots of these two cars. The blue one is just gorgeous. double clear coats over the base color. Plenty of material to polish to dead flat which it is presently undergoing.

nice pictures. It's good to see how they mask it for a very completed finish.

I find the tools and machinery to be at least as interesting as the high-zoot cars. You can tell a lot about a shop by looking at the back walls, the way they organize their tools.

Hope to see those on the street around here by summer!

Yeah, but the finish on the blue one is kinda dull.

Nice Harlan! Do you no if the 906 will show up at SOVREN events? I know there are a couple of others that are being worked on here in the NW also.

Mark, Answer to your question, I'm not sure. Still lots to get sorted on the car. But the body and window/door panels all have very nice gaps from many hours of adjusting and readjusting. I'll keep posting progress pictures here. Kirsten has a 912 and his personal 911S also being worked on in the shop.
